During these times of unrest, it is paramount to the success of the rental housing industry that we are careful and thoughtful of each other, especially to our colleagues, customers and in our communities. Their well-being is incumbent upon the creation and maintenance of a more inclusive and respectful environment in and around the rental housing industry.
NAAEI Facilitator Ty Jackson, will discuss how diversity, equity and inclusion are important guidelines for leaders and apartment industry professionals to follow. From implicit bias impacting hiring practices to identifying the characteristics of an inclusive leader, participants will be given the tools to facilitate the personal and organizational development of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. We are in this together and we will get through this together.

Ty Jackson is a highly rated NAAEI Facilitator and International speaker. Ty brings over 16 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultation, training, education, and coaching in leadership, management, and other positions for the multifamily industry. She develops strategies and goals that align and strengthen the multifamily overall vision for DEI. It is Ty’s goal to help Create and foster a culture of respect and cultural competence.
